Today is Feed The Things Under Your Bed Day!

We all know there are the things that go, “Bump” in the night.  We all know we actually hear these nerve shaking sounds that disturb the peaceful slumber and make us peer into the darkness.  That’s not our imagination but we’re told it’s just the house settling or the wind rattling the shutters.  You can’t be sure what makes those creepy noises as you’re tucked in all cozy for the night.  Just your imagination, right?

What could it be that wakes you from peaceful sleep?  Figments of horror movie-fueled specters, phantoms and goblins?  Frightening multi-legged things who dwell in shadowy corners, closets and under the bed?   Maybe it’s just a mouse.  Maybe.

Let us here at Moonwater Ghost Hunters assure you, the things that make those little noises at inconvenient hours are real.  Only  they don’t go, “bump” in the night.  It’s more like a gurgle-rumble sound.   That’s usually because they’re hungry, you see.

They don’t come out often because they don’t like when everyone screams when they’re seen.  They just stay in their little dark places waiting for you to drop crumbs of chips or chocolate on the floor.   Occasionally, one will get a little ambitious and nibble a heel or ankle as you get up to use the bathroom at 3am.

Our little friend, Ollie fully understands the conundrum.  He shares his snacks with the things under the bed.  In return, they don’t nibble his ankles, keep him awake or ruin his comic books when he’s not home.

You’d do well, Dear Reader, to be a bit more considerate of the things under your bed.  Bring them a snack, maybe a burrito once in a while.   They live there too and while you’re away, they scare away the really frightening things that are too horrifying  to discuss here….
