Smooch A Silly Spider Day 2020

Ollie prepares for Smooch A Silly Spider Day.

Today’s Ollie Holiday is:

Smooch A Silly Spider Day is a result of the Valentine’s Day/Moonwater Observatory Fundraiser Dance (see tomorrow’s story, pending).  Since Oliver is naturally adorable (by some counts) he is the Official Smooch Recipient*

Smooches cost $.50 ($.25 extra with breath mint of your choice, flavors include Strawberry, Mint and Taco).  The money raised goes to various charities and for art supplies at the school.  It does not, as was once reported, go toward pizza parties and jet pack fuel.

*Gordon the fire-sneezing dragon was the original Smooch Recipient since dragons are considered highly intelligent and cuddly.  However, the “fire-sneezing dragon” part made it quite clear, quite early that it was an unwise decision.  No one was interested in wearing inflammable lip balm.

If you have some spare change and your favorite lip balm handy, come on down to Moonwater Pizza and Calzone for Smooch A Silly Spider Day and plant one on our resident Official Smooch Recipient (v2).  It’s for a good cause and Ollie promises not to be all sloppy about it and even took a bath.
