V is for Adventure Van #atozchallenge

O Team
The O Team is afoot.

Ollie once watched an old TV show about a team of adventurers in a van and got an idea; he had a team of adventurers that liked to go places but he needed a van.  Out in the workshop disguised as a barn he set to work.  He collected bits and pieces of things he found in the meadow and traded other things for parts down at Moonwater surplus which was run by a scaly old toad named Ted.

Ollie got some of his friends to help after school and on weekends.  It was, as usual, a top secret project.  He raided his model kit box for paints and an airbrush and finished off his secret project.  He fired up the engine, made from recycled food processor parts and drove his new Adventure Van out of the workshop.  It was shiny and sleek and ready for anything including a run to the pizza place.

His friends piled in and fought over who got to sit in the front, who got to sit in the back and who got to drive.  It was decided that Ticklebit would drive, Ollie would ride shotgun and the Bearly Brothers would ride in the back.  It didn’t have and jelly cannons yet nor did it have and cool gadgets.  Those would come later when Ollie remembered you can’t really go on adventures without jelly cannons.

Artemouse, Spoon and Gordon wanted no part of it as they knew Ticklebit couldn’t drive.  It was just a matter of time before they’d be called in to retrieve pieces of the van from the meadow and possibly the trees.  That’s a different story.  For now, this was to be known as the origin of a new band of marauding adventurers.

This was to be known as the era of the O team.
